Just married, and drove off on their Harley

I want to talk about the bride here. Andrea messaged me four months before the shoot. All those four months we were in constant contact. Talking about locations, her dress, her bouquet, poses, and etc. I loved all of the planning, maybe its a Virgo thing. She was always so patient with me and my change of ideas. We had become so comfortable with each other that we could be able tell each other what we liked and didn’t like. This photoshoot was starting to mean a lot to me and I couldn’t wait for the day to finally come. A lot of the planning kind of went out the window because our original location was under construction. I didn’t even look at my posing ideas on the day of the shoot, I just went with the flow. I still love how these turned out.

Im so happy these two found each other. I don’t want to sound biased, but you are very lucky to her Robert. By the way she looked at him i’m sure she knows she is lucky too.

Thank you for being dream clients of mine.

Miami elopement at the Biltmore Hotel

I saw this relationship become what it is now.

From kids going to sneaker events together, to them becoming parents and making me the godmother.

I love these two and glad I was able to photograph their elopement with the help of my goddaughter.

Portland to Seattle and some places in between

November 2021. Flew to the west coast with my boyfriend to see these to amazing cities. We flew in through Portland and stayed In a tiny house Airbnb, it was so cute. The main thing I wanted to see during this trip was to drive to Cannon beach and see haystack rock. Even though it was cold, windy, and raining it was one of the greatest things i’ve seen. “Its not just a boulder, its a rock!” -Spongebob. We walked to this bar some blocks down from where we stayed and it had cheap drinks and a fire place, we’ll never forget Binks. After getting to see some places in Oregon we drove north to Washington. Before getting to Seattle we decided go on a hike in a city east of seattle. I think my boyfriends favorite part was going to a Seahawks game. Loved this trip so much plus these cities are big on coffee, if you know me you know I love coffee.

Bode Family

Ive been working with this family for two years now. Ive seen their family grow and they’ve seen me grow as a photographer. I appreciate having clients like them. The bode family hold a special place in my heart.

Samantha & Nahuel Destination wedding

A small destination wedding to Miami. This couple had an intimate destination wedding at the Palm house Miami Beach. They had their ceremony on the sand just has the sun was setting. Their most intimate family and friends all flew in to be part of their special day. There was live music by Voces de America, a mariachi group. This sweet couple trusted me to capture these moments of their day and im so glad I was a part of it.

Foto walk @ Miami Design District

How a photoshoot can just be a fun family day. This little lady was ready to pose the second she saw the camera, I loved it. Her mom contacted me for a photoshoot for her birthday and we spent the hour walking and talking all around design district. I loved the flow of this shoot. No facial expressions were forced, the smiles were genuine.

Foto walk @ Miami Beach

I love photoshoots like these. Ones where I get to walk and talk with the model. Move to varies locations. Amazing natural light. And a comfortable, happy model in front of the camera.

It was so cold and windy this day, I almost thought I would have to reschedule. But everything worked in my favor. The windy day helped create movement in her hair and dress. The overcast isn’t so ideal for a beach shoot but was something different for the usual sunny and hot Miami Beach.

Jen & Jeff. the young love birds

Jen and Jeffery are soooo cute ! I just had to say that first. They are engaged and this is their first photoshoot together. Jen says this is something she always wanted but what she doesn’t know is that i’ve always wanted this too ! To photograph a great couple in love walking, talking, looking at each other. Something so natural and effortless; I find that beautiful. Although I met Jen and Jeff this day I call them a great couple because that is what I saw. I try to keep my client comfortable because getting photographed can be awkward and then both the client and photographer can feel tense. With Jen and Jeff we did not stop talking! I didn’t want to stop photographing them but as the sun set it was time to leave the beach and time to edit :)

Rooftop wedding in San Diego, CA

What a fun day filled with love and alpacas! This is what a wedding at hotel would look like! Imagine everything you need in one location. Getting ready room, room for your out of town guest to stay in, roof top ceremony, and ball room for reception. This hotel felt like I was on the sweet life of Zach & Cody running all around the hotel trying to photograph its best angles with the couple. Intercontinental San Diego is a hotel in the heart of the city, downtown. I would call this a modern styled wedding with a vintage twist after the bride changed to her second dress.

Amy & Tom | La Jolla, CA Wedding

Usually, I’m with the bride before the wedding but at this wedding I got to see what it was like from the groom's perspective. We got to take some solo portraits of Tom as he waited to see his bride Amy. Letting the couple see each other before the ceremony really releases some pressure, I mean its your wedding day it’s ok to be a little nervous :) I was able to capture the moment when Tom first saw Amy as a bride, this is a very special moment that the couple get to have before the ceremony.

Amy and Tom's bridesmaids were their daughters! So they got a bridal party and new family pictures. I just hope these photographs can show how much fun everyone was having. Being that this wedding was at the beach I couldn’t wait to photograph these two with the sunset. I am always so thankful to have to opportunity to capture these special days for great people like Amy & Tom

Have you ever seen the rain? A Rockstar Wedding | San Diego, CA |

As soon as I walked in the bridesmaids getting ready room Deneen (bride) greeted me with such a warm welcome, I knew it was going to be a good day. Deneen was so funny and excited to be getting married to her highschool sweetheart. Quick little story… Deneen & Robert went to the same high school in San Diego then went their separate ways and found each other again at one of their high school reunions and bada bing bada boom their love was restored. Though Deneen and Robert are both from San Diego they moved away from home but knew there was no better way to have a wedding than coming back HOME ! This San Diego wedding couldn’t be any more “San Diego” then by having authentic Mexican tacos and fresh churros. If I can give the playlist to this wedding a name it would be “Rock Classics” or “Head Bangers”. The only thing that was off about the wedding is that it started pouring rain ! At least everyone didn’t mind dancing in the rain.

Can you feel the love? | Estancia La Jolla, CA |

Hope & Julian came to San Diego with their family and friends for their perfect destination wedding. This was a small but very intimate and detailed wedding. The details on this wedding were so beautiful, you had to be there, but hope these pictures give you a gist of what it was like. What I love about weddings is that you can be so stressed in the beginning but then everything falls into place, I love when things fall into place. Hope and Julian’s calm personalities made this day feel comfortable. These two are really a great match, when they walk in the room you can feel the love.

Being that this was my third wedding as an intern I started to realize how much more confident I felt. These are the pictures that I took as an intern, hope they create a story in your head. The photographer for this wedding was shewanders, here is their blog post with the photographs they took. (Click link on “here”).

My First Wedding | Lindsey & Brandon | Malibu, CA

This is my first wedding where I got to go as a photographer, although I went as an intern I was able to take these pictures and learn throughout the day with my mentor, Suzanne from Shewanders, right next to me. I couldn’t believe I was in Malibu, CA and about to shoot a wedding in Calamigos Ranch. I was pretty nervous as this wedding was HUGE and I was just learning how to shoot manual. As the day went on I was feeling less anxious since the family made me feel so comfortable.

Everything was beautiful, I knew I wanted to experience this again. After assisting at this wedding I had to go to the next one and the next one and the next. I was at the wedding for nine hours and when I got to bed I just cracked my fingers and never slept better. You just have this adrenaline without having to drink cafecito! The love and happiness just keeps you going.

p.s. Lindsey and Brandon if you find this blog post I wish you two love and happiness <3
